28th SEP 2017... a date I will never forget...
We all treat pets like a baby and kinu was like my own child ... who came to our life and left us empty-handed.
My baby crossed over the rainbow bridge because of liver disorder or cancer the vet's couldn't judge what happened to him and he went away. My heart cries when I start talking about him and how my house is so empty without him...
In this process of he getting sick and losing him, I learned a lot of things about animals which nobody taught me or guided me .. I wanted all the pet parents to know about it before it is too late and you lose your baby.
Some useful tips to know if your pet is healthy or not.
1. Your pet's urine should be transparent and not yellow. If it's yellow or they have less water it's time for a blood test or vet checkup.
2. Your pet's nose should be always wet. If it's dry that means your pet is sick.
3. Every adult dog or cat has to be dewormed once in 3months and before that has to be given liver tonics as dewormer or vaccines reduce immunity.
4. The stool color of your pet should be brown, not any other color. It should be solid and brown. if not then your pet is not healthy.
5. Biggest MYTH that animals are carnivores. They are omnivores, they need the balanced diet which includes green vegetables, fruits, rice, chicken. STOP FEEDING YOUR PET ONLY RICE AND CHICKEN OR CHICKEN LIVER.
6. Every time you get your pet vaccination done, make sure your vet checks your pet and then gives vaccines, coz any wrong vaccine can kill your pet.
7. ANIMALS VOMITING IS NOT NORMAL. Its high time we understand our animals should not vomit if they do it's not normal it's our duty to get them checked and if your vet says it's normal please change your vet.
8. Make sure your pet is getting enough exercise and is not getting obese. Obesity leads to many diseases.
9. Do not give overdose of antibiotics, find out homeopathy alternative or Bach flower remedies for the same.
10. Make sure your pet is active and does not act lazy or breathes heavily when you ask them to play.
I hope all these tips will help many of you will not lose your baby like I lost my kinu.
I know he is with me and will always be. Remember your vet will not guide you all this it's only a person who lost her baby due to lack of vet facility can tell you all this.
